| Activity/Event Summary: |
Three resource persons from the Institute of Sri SathyaSai Education Nepal (ISSEN) presented a half-day training session to 37 trainees includinghead teachers and teachers of community schools of the government on 7 June 2016 at Khairenitar village of Nuwakot district. It was a regular program organized by the local training hub of the National Center for Educational Development (NCED), an apex body of government for teacher’s training under the Ministry of Education. The SSSIO Nepal has an agreement with NCED to facilitate EHV component of the NCED Teacher’s Training Program. The training contents focused on the need and methods of values-based education in contemporary times. |

As a part of message dissemination SSION organized a program of cultural verities on 11 June 2016 in Kathmandu. About 200 SSE children coming from different parts of the country participated in the program and presented Devotional Songs, National Songs, Dances and Value Based Dramas. A four hour long program was attended by 2000 people in a jammed hall of Nepal Academy. The program began with Omkar, Gayatri and Veda chanting and ended with MangalArati to Bhagawan. |

| Activity/Event Summary: |
A week long residential SSE Guru Training was organized by the Institute of Sri SathyaSai Education Nepal (ISSEN) from 13 to 19 June 2016 at Tokha, Kathmandu. This is the third residential Guru Training Program by the ISSEN. Altogether 62 participants including non-devotee school teachers and SSION devotees participated in the program to become SSE Gurus. The program was inaugurated by the President of the SSSIO Nepal. The programme received high appreciation by the participants. The participants particularly coming from private schools, who were not sai devotees, felt fortunate to be the part of the program. Two of them speaking during the concluding session expressed their commitment to use the learning in day to day life. They also urged the fellow participants to make the program more fruitful by conducting SSE classes and helping children to imbibe values. The program came to end with certificate distribution and mangalaarati. |

| Activity/Event Summary: |
SSION is continuing its service to earthquake victims. In this process sportswear, school bags, exercise books and pencils were distributed to 56 school children of earthquake affected Kavre district on 20 June 2016. Seven person including five non-sai devotees were involved in the seva work. Thus, non-sai devotees are also joining hands with the organization in such seva activities. |

As a part of self-employment scheme of the organization, women wing of SSION organized a skill development training for women devotees on 25 June 2016 at Sri SathyaSaiCenter Utterkathmandu. 12 trainers conducted the program for 150 Saidevotees. The program included making artificial garlands, crystal necklace, Nepali money bag, wick; knitting woolen caps, socks, sweaters for babies; cooking namkeen and preparing mango pickle. |
